Appointments

Sandmere Practice has amended the way of booking GP appointments in order to minimise the risk of COVID-19.
Walk-in appointments have been suspended until further notice. Appointments will be by telephone consultation first. You can book these (1) online through patient access (2) by calling us (telephone lines will be busy). Alternatively, use our e-consult tool via bit.ly/e-sandmere which is triaged by the GP.
If you have a high temperature or new persistent cough the NHS advises that you self-isolate for seven days if you have these symptoms. Please go online to NHS111 for further information https://111.nhs.uk.

Urgent

See the notice above

Non-urgent

For non-urgent appointments please make an appointment to see the doctors or the nurse. You can do it at the practice or call us on 020 7274 6366.

The nearest Walk-in Centre is at St Georges Hospital, Tooting.

Home visits

If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please telephone the surgery between 8.30am and 10.30am on weekdays.

On weekends please either call NHS 111 for advice or
Healthcall for an emergency doctor.

Home visits are normally made after morning surgery and can take considerably longer than a consultation in the surgery, so if you can get to the surgery it would be helpful. When requesting a visit you may be asked a few questions about the problem. This helps the doctors assess the urgency of the visit so that they can plan their rounds.
